I was going to show pics of the paint job, but, I have never been able to show much on this web site. Is it me? I've uploaded some pics, only the cyber gods know where they are. . I probably need help showing them.

Ray, the pics are in your Personal File Folder. I'll post links to them at lunchtime. They are far too large to post in a normal post....I'll add the links for ya. That hang is YALLER, ain't it?!?

Joel, I was going to show the progress pictures as we go. I've got a gad of them, with a gad more coming over the next few months. How do you think I should post them all?

http://s1370.photobucket.com/user/totalair96/slideshow/ This will be the STINGYA repaint file. Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated. The Dairy Truck has been sitting on a Ranch by our place since the 60's. The friend of mine that is painting the car is going to turn it into a Rat Rod. Look at the phone #. I thought that was cool. You can see I got real lucky that the barbed wire didn't get my bumpers. I'm going to rechrome them anyway, along with the license and exhaust bezels. Those are the original shocks, brakes etc. I'm going to replace the shocks. The car has 14,427 miles on it, and has never seen a winter. Makes things real easy to unbolt.

PB slide show werks just fine, Mario! I do have a comment.....it has to do with the safety of the car in the pics...
The jack stands at the rear are positioned under the spring....not really a good place for them. Best to put the jack stands under the frame just ahead of the rear tire. I'd be askeered that thing would fall off the stands...

Yep. It was mentioned already. I did not like where he put them. And the car is and always will be 952 Yellow. There is a reason that goes back to 1968 why I have a Yellow C3 Corvette. Probably a story for a different Forum someday.

Nice looking ride! More pics please.
Especially of that big block hiding under the hood.

There is a yellow '73 big block 4 spd. car around my area that is absolutely stunning. I hope to someday own a '73, since it is my favorite out of the C3's. Something about the mix of the rubber bumper nose and the rear chrome bumperette's does it for me.

TKO500 5 spd.
