Tach Issue

Can't believe it.  I sent my speedo and tach off to CA to be rebuild.  Took a month to get them back!  Last night was finally  ready to put the dash back together after installing new air/heat and raditor.. all was looking great.  Opened box with newly rebuild tach.. and they lost the back cover to the tach.. wow I can't believe it.  Called and asked about it and they said they would search for it.  I don't have alot of hope.  Does any one have a back cover for a 75 tach.  Or what years vettes uesed the same tach so I can go junk yard shopping.  Also what other Chevy products might of used the same tach?  Hoping for the best..

I assume you are referring to the bucket it sits in?  If so, we have a bunch of 68-74 tachs.  Yours is the first year of the electronic tach.  You can have the bucket for the cost of shipping it to you if you think the earlier one will work.  I don't have any of your style tach to tell for sure.

Thanks to you both.  Jack has an old 75 tach that I will get from him.  Once again thanks to all.. someday this thing will come together again... love and hate..
