Will a electric tach from a 75 vette fit in my 73 dash? I got rid of points with a mallory hei.

Thanks, did not think far enough ahead on that one. Just tring to keep interior looking nice. Should have bought tach drive i guess but was told that electric tach was better. What do you think?

I put a Crane XR-1 kit in my 73 so I could keep the tach drive.Very easy to install and no more points and condenser. Bought it at Summit Racing for $64.00.

Another option is the Pertronix Ignitor II Breakerless Ignition kit. I have one in my 74 and it works great. I got mine from Corvette Central for about $120.00.

When I bought my '69 a previous owner had replaced the original tach with a '75-'77 electric model. You do not need to replace the harness. It is a simple 3 wire hook-up: coil, 12v, and ground.
