So im going to reinstall trim on tops. It was pinched on originally, so should there be anything added in a way of sealant, what would keep water from getting between trim and fiberglass.

I'm not aware of anything used there myself, but it prolly wouldn't hurt to put a SMALL bead of sillycone down in the channel of the trim before installing it.
