Got new T Top and window seals from Bairs' for my 1980.
Fantastic quality, quick delivery, friendly service.
Today I began ripping and stripping out the old seals.....not fun....actually easier on the side that was more tattered.
I did the driver's side first. There was some water damage to the paint on the metal portion of the Top.
I decided to just scrape off the bubbled up paint, put the dremel wheel to the touch if rust that had started.
Just happened to have a can of black rustoleum and put two coats on the driver's side while I was stripping off the seals on the passenger side top.
Passenger side top was a lot slower going.
Fnished that then threw a coat of paint on the passenger side top and a thrid coat on the driver side top.
That is where it stands right now.....
