Well it's getting hot already.....I need some suggestions for seat covers for the summer. I have a set of the "Seat Saver" slipcovers that came from Ecklers, but they are kind of scratchy and not very cool on the behind. And another problem with them now is I just installed my new seat belts and I'll have to cut a slot in each side for the shoulder belt to pass through. Maybe some one has bought some that they like and could point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Those seat towels look kinda neat. I'll see if they have something like that for the 72. I haven't bought sheep skins in a long time...I bet they are outrageously priced. I'll keep searching. Anyone else seen anything they like?

That's what I use. We don't get a lot of real hot days but enough that my butt sweats sitting on the leather.
I had some old sheepskin covers from Sams Club in an old Tauras. I cut the backs off and just use the bottoms. No more sweaty legs. Might not work as well that way on the '79 - '82 seats.

Does anyone have the Neopreme seat covers. They have some on the Mid America web site. They say they have extra padding and it looks like they are a pretty tight fit. It also says there cool in the summer. I might check ebay for some used sheepskin. My wife can sew pretty well maybe rig up some like Jeff. I had some sheep skin covers in an MGB I had years ago and they were very cool.
