I bought a really nice 80 vette, the problem is that the vacuum on the lights is botched somewhere. Is Fixing this problem very difficult? And if so, does anyone have suggestions on where to begin to fix the problem. All the lines are hooked up correctly as far as the diagram shows, yet still doesnt want to retract the lights. Any tips would be appreciated. I am located in California, Thank You

Check the actuators. If they are getting vacuum, then it sounds like the seals are bad.

Do they go up, but just not come down? That could be the actuators, or the relay valves. If they move at all, then there is vacumm going to the relay valves, but the valves leak quite often, especially with older valves.
