I have several interior plastic parts that someone has repainted in the past.  My problem is that the paint is flaking off of quite a bit of it.  I want to repaint these but need a good way to get the paint off without damaging the plastic.  Any ideas?  I plan to use a adhesion promoter/primer when I repaint.  Thanks for the advice. I used a product called naked gun cleaner. It is for cleaning spray guns. It will attack plastic if it is on the surface to long. I would put my parts in a small container with this product and pull it out about every minute and wipe it off until I had the old paint removed. I did let my wiper button in to long and it melted it down! So you have ot be very careful and not get involved in any thing else if you decide to try this. another option is to soda blast your parts.
Good Luck
