Just finished the install of a new stereo and speakers for the ride to CC.Used a Pioneer DEH-P49001B CD receiver with Crystall Mobile speakers CXE464,SOUNDS AWESOME.The speakers fit in easily with very little modification.I ran the IPOD cable under the passenger console side panel and it exits at the seat so I can tuck the IPOD right next to the seat belt receiver out of the way.I took pics of the install if anyone is interested,I would post to site but haven't figured that out yet.

Thanks you guys, I've got that very project to do on the wifes '78. It just won't be in time for the ride up to Carson City. Funny,... she don't enjoy the musc from the pipes as much as I do. Go figure .Wink

Looks good, Todd!  Now I know who to bribe for help when we have to replace ours!!!! Wink Hopefully, we'll do it ourselves.  (Got the final bill for the seats and carpet and miscellaneous little stuff...OUCH!!! Dead
