Does anyone know the thread pitch for the star bolt for the tilt/tele
wheel on a 77 Vette? I need to know what tap and die to get to
re-thread it, mine will not start and its boogering up the threads on
the bolt. It's the bolt that holds the telescopic ring in,
threaded thru the center of the steering shaft. Thanks, I
gotta get this fixed!

Marc, if no-one comes to the rescue on this to-nite, I'll bring my pitch gauge home tommorrow nite, and measure mine.

Joel,
I got it fixed. Picked up the tap this morning and all is well and put back together. If anyone needs to know, it is a 5/16-18 coarse.
