squeek instead of a honk

Hey people, when was the last time you checked your alarm, when I checked mine I found it didn't work when I opened the drivers door, turned out it was a loose connect at the door button, when it did work it squeeked instead of honking for about 15 seconds, then it started to honk like it should, I checked it 5 years ago when I bought the car, might want to check the alarm now and then, 15 seconds seems like a long time.anips38396.8098263889
