The same plastic/nylon gears that work the odometer also work the trip mileage indicator, or is that separate from the odometer and another set of gears that need to be repaired also?
I know the voices aren't real, but they have some pretty cool ideas...

Thanks Ken. I'll have to talk to you some more about this when I get ready to tackle taking out the speedo. Right now I'm trying to get my tranny that Joel fixed back in along with a new clutch and get an MSD ignition system installed and all six u-joints replaced. I've given up on the possibility of the new console and under carpet insulation installation. (try saying that one fast)
Just not enough time left. Just wanna make sure I get there!

My speedometer works but my odometer and trip mileage thingy doesn't. What's that gonna take to fix? Thingy??? Must be beer thirty!
