The summer down here in south Florida has been kind of crazy so I'm just putting the interior back in my 80. New seats, carpet and what now has turned in to several large boxes of very small parts. Got the insulation in and my wife now refers to it as the tin foil car. One thing led to another so I added a power antenna, radio was shot so I found a good used one. Now its time to figure out what to do with speakers. Obviously I'm not looking for a lot of power or I wouldn't have gone with the original radio. I really don't understand this 4ohm or 8ohm stuff. I just don't ruin the radio I'm putting in. Hope someone can point me in the right direction.
Mike

Ask a good auto stereo shop. I'm not sure of the impedence of factory speakers, but many quality speakers are multi-ohm. Either way, get quality stuff...just make sure whatever you buy is matched to the stereo, respective of both ohms and power handling ability.
