This part is screwed to the mounting bracket ot the top dash cover. Has a part # (SYLVANIA 03961500)Made in USA. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement new or used? I think this is the unit that turns the warning light out after a period of time.

Corvette Central lists a seatbelt warning relay (part #593017) for $41.50. It fits '72-'75 models. It sounds like what you're looking for. The other parts houses or GM may carry it as well.
