i'm in the process of buying a 75 vette that has 142 code for interior which looks to be silver leather i've never seen silver interior just curious as to how it looks it presently has black standard interior the car color is steel blue with a white top if it looks good i wouldn't mind changing back to original

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

Obviously, it's up to personal preference, but I think the silver is a great looking interior! I can't put my finger on it, but I think it makes the cars look more modern. Maybe it's because it's so rare. If you're buying, I'm sure you've seen a number of the used Corvette sites. Keep looking through those and I'm sure you'll come across a silver interior. It will make your car stand out!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

it does have that distinct look to it. not only that the body color is code 27-steel blue in which there were only 1200 for the 75 model year the color steel blue was only offered for 3 months so with the silver leather it would make it a nice combination

Silver is a very nice color for the C3 interior. I thought about changing my leather parts from '82 slate gray to silver when I restore my interior, but the purist in me won out

I have the silver leather interior in my C3 and I think it looks great. For one thing, I feel it is cooler in the summer (might be my imagination). Another is you see very few C3's with silver and I like that. I like having something that's not exactly like everyone elses.

My silver interior is pretty mauch identical to Marks. Even down to the same floor mats !! Mark, you bin peeking inside my car huh ??? ... and just how do you add those links to your pix in a post like that ?
