The side view mirror on my 81 is wobbling, I took it out and the plastic attached to the glass on the mirror on the back side one of the two plastic tabs that snap into the Trunion is broken. I searched all the suppliers and cannot seem to find a mirror that is attached to the plastic. They only sell the glass and the Trunion. Can anyone help me with this problem. I hope I dont have to buy a complete new sport mirror.

I've never had one of those mirrors apart. But there are quite a few of those mirrors on ebay. Just search " '82 corvette mirror."
Maybe you could "gut" one of those and use the parts in your housing. Or paint up the replacement mirror and use that one instead.
