How do you remove the side grills (gills)? Not in Haynes or Chiltons. Got the top 2 screws out but something holding on the bottom.

Found it. Never mind. When I got the left side grill off and looked inside saw "LT-1" hand painted on the side of the left exhaust manifold (not visible from the engine compartment). Cool.

One look at an assembly manuel should give you a major hint on how to remove the side grills...
Honestly its been years since I had to remove them from my 72 BUT I had absolutely no problem, couple of clips and screws from memory...
