Hi All,
Im about to begin replacing the upper and lower shift boots on my 4 speed 68 vette. Any tips or tricks?

Vette(s): 1969 Corvette Convertible. 350/350HP engine, power steering, 4 speed, burgundy exterior, black interior, black top, stainless steel brakes and optional hardtop. Rally wheels.
Do you have an Assembly Manual? Easier if you do, but I did it without one. Just remove the console, shifter ball, reverse lockout and you'll see the screws holding the upper on. Remove it and remove the screws for the lower and reverse the process with the new stuff. I bought my replacements from Eckler's but other suppliers have 'em too. Good luck. |hammer|

thankd harry...i bot my stuff from mid america...i think their service is a lot quicker and it seems that both are about the same price...thanks again for the help
