How do you remove the seat foams from a '79? I've heard the term "Snap in place."

If you push back the seat foam on top from the side, you will see the spring bar thats under a clip fastened to the seat back. After you get the top foam off, I think the back of the bottom foam lifts up and unclips from the front. Not terribly hard to get out, trickier to get back. I had to replace both bottom seat buckets when I first got mine, so its been a while. hth.

Thanks Barry!
I might have come across a decent used set of seats on foam. If I get them I want to know what to do.

If you have a big bladed screw driver that you can grind a "V" in the center of the blade, it will be of great help in removing the foam from the plastic seats!!

Well, this'll be my first ever e-bay purchase. We'll see.
From the photos and speaking to the seller on the phone, I think I should be pretty happy with the used seats on foam I ordered. Should be here in 4-5 days.
I'll poke around and see if I can get 'em on. If not, I'm Jersey bound Paul.
Thanks,
Kevin
