I am going to take the seats out of my 69 vert to have them recovered. Do they just slide off the end of the track, or, is the steering wheel in the way?

Dean,
I'm pretty sure all you do is put the seat all the way back, then take out the two bolts in the front of the seat. Then move the seat all the way forward and take out the two bolts in the back of it where they screw into the floor. The seats just lift out after that.

While the seats are at the shop, it would be a freat time to clean , paint and lube the tracks. Be prepared to find some rust and broken springs.
