Dwa - other than finding a decent one in a Corvette bone yard, ZIP Corvette handles some replacement options for your '79. They offer replacement belts for around $200 and reproduction belts for around $250. I don't know of anyone who sells new single components, looks like you have to by a complete set. If you plan to drive the car, the 35+ year old seat belts should be replaced anyway.

Vette(s): '73 L48 Coupe, 383, M20, A/C, Electric Windows. Matterhorn White Jet-Glo w/ Dark Blue interior. Rochester, Edelbrock, Blackjack Ceramics, Borlas w/ 2.5" mandrel X over, Cooper Cobras on both OEM Steel and Aluminum Wheels.
These people restore them.
Just don't be in a hurry to get it back.
