OK, I guess it's the norm, when you fix 2 problems a new one pops up!!AngryAngryAngry

All of a sudden the seat belt light in the console stays on continuously.  The buzzer shuts off when I fasten the seat belt, so I'm assuming the belt switch is doing its job.  From the wiring diagram it looks like there is a timer in the circuit and it might be the cause.  Am I on the right track?
It's driving me crazy!!Censored
Wife says I can't just put black tape over it!! (Yes Joel, I already tried that line!!)
Anyone ever have this problem??
  Thanks

If you DON'T fasten the seatbelt does the buzzer keep buzzing? If so, probably the timer. Make sure the buzzer is securely plugged in to the fuse box and any connectors at the buzzer are also plugged in.mkapp78792007-05-28 22:29:05

Well....that blows my idea...

I'll agree with Mike, and check all the connections for the buzzer/timer system.
I have a similar problem with the '74...sometimes while driving with Mama, the light AND the buzzer come on...one click up on the e-brake silences the buzzer, and turns the belt light off, but then you have the e-brake light on! One of these days I'll actually look into it...
