I finnaly got my 78 back from the body shop and am in the process of reassembling it. Today I was installing the rear quarter panals when I steped on the plastic grommet that fits where the belt goes thru the panal to the retrackter and I can't find one in any of my catalogs can anybody help, David

I don't see anything in the books either. The only thing I can suggest is calling a shop in your area that specializes in Corvette's. They may have that part laying around or possibly some '78-'82 wrecks out back with the interior still in it. Or keep an eye out on Ebay for that part.

If I come across that part I'll give you a shout. I may be out near the vette shop in my area in the next couple weeks. I can see if they have one.

Thank you, I live up in the mountians of Colorado and the closest vette shop is about 300 miles in Denver
