Hey Gang,
has anyone had a problem with the seat back hitting the deck lid and chipping the paint? Is there an easy fix for this issue as I'm about to get my car out of the paint shop and don't want this to continue to happen? Any thoughts would be very appreciated!

You can adjust the metal stops that are on the bottom of the seat back and the back end of the seat bottom.

Not sure what years had them originally(not all years did), but there are also small rubber "bumpers" that bolt onto the rear deck lid to keep the seatback from hitting it and damaging stuff.

Check the seat frame as well.  It could be cracked or broken and flexing when you lean back.

Thanks guys. I'll take a look at the seat bumpers to see if that fixes my problem.
