I'm not entirely sure what this part's name is, but as best I can describe it its
a piece of molding that the driver's side door frame weatherstripping
attaches to. Its missing & I'm having a bear of a time locating another piece.

I'm going to post links to 2 pictures. They are approximately 800 x 600
each.

Here is the passenger side piece for reference

Well the second picture won't post...

I think its called the driver's side pillar molding...Barkingowl38832.9020486111

The weatherstrip glues directly to the body there. No "molding" in that location, as there is at the front. The weatherstrip does actually fit up underneath the molding at the top, by the t-top, and is glued all the way down from there. There is also a rivit at the very bottom of that w-strip, that holds it where it curves rearward.

Joel isn't there a trim piece that goes underneath the weatherstripping? My
74 has one on the passenger side...

Ya know, Chris, I had to go look at my car, and sure enough, there is a retainer for that strip! I'm such a Goober. I don't remember there being one there, but there is. The part is called a "retainer strip", but I haven't located one yet. You might give the fine folks at PARAGON a call. I'm sure they'll have one. It might be a used one, but it will be in good condition.
Sorry for the incorrect info before.....they say the memory is the first to go.....
