I got my L88 scoop today day from summit.

just got to cut hood and fit it,i'm scared.

any detailed pics would be good.

That is an '81 hood, and the feller cut out the entire middle to put on an L-88 scoop, instead of just enough to clear the air cleaner assy. LOL  Not sure if the scoop he had came with the original style L-88 air cleaner box/housing bonded onto it or not, but even so, it wouldn't require a hole that big. Perfect example of "overkill".
I tried to find a spec sheet on the hood, to get the hole measurement, but so far I haven't had any luck on that. Might just have to eyeball it....Ouch

Did you decide on a short scoop or long scoop. Just curious. By the way, I have no talent with fiberglass but I would imagine if you take it slow and do your homework, it will look great.
