I Hope I am not going to far off topic why not a daily driver that is what I am expecting to do, I will sell my C3 my Honda and drive the C5 all the time. I only work part time but the 3 days I work its about 40 miles round trip

Vette(s): 1974 L-48 Auto. Just your basic Vette. GM crate motor w/vortec heads and intake. Crane cam. Scorpion rockers, Edelbrock carb. Lots of parts still in boxes... :(
It ate me alive in maintenance costs.  Primarily tires.  But don't get me wrong, I loved the car.  And if you are not going to put many miles on it you'll probably be fine.  But for an every day driver, it wasn't a good choice for me.
