Vette(s): 1980 Black exterior, red interior, 4 speed.
Dear All,

I found a window motor for my 80, but am having trouble getting the old power window motor out of the car. Is this thing riveted in? From the looks of my assembly manual, it is.
Do I have to declare "Jihad" on the engineers for the 1980 model year? |cussing|
If anyone has a "how to" on this fix, I would be grateful.
UPDATE: Giant box full of Ecklers stuff will be here next week. (new interior pieces)
I'll have my website updated this week so I can get a few pics out there.

Thanks as always,

Kevin in Cincy |thumb|

Kevin, you have to take off the access panel and drill out the factory rivets. You just re-secure it with small bolts to the original position
I don't envy you doing this. Thanks god mine work well (fingers crossed)
