Vette(s): 1978 Silver Anniversary Coupe Lt. Biege w/ Dark Brown Int. Happily owned since 1981.
While reinstalling the headlamp actuator I accidentially pushed the headlamp housing into the locked position. How can I unlock it so I can partially lower it to fit the actuator back in place? |cussing|

If you look up under the unit you will see a knob in the center of some linkage - by pulling down on the nknob - it will allow you to gently push downward on the headlight housing - May not have described it exactly how it is - but I found the Knob and released the unit - Sprayedit first with WD-40
Hope it helps
Al
