Can you tell me if your replacement mirrors from GM are imported or made in the US?

I looked at the GM mirrors, didn't say where the mirrors were made. The label on the box showed Detroit, Mich. The Paragon web site shows the GM Restoration mirrors and states that they are made in the USA.
I also did some experimenting with the mounts. The factory mount works great, I had an after market mount also, and that had to be drilled out to make it work.
Maybe the whole problem is with the mounts. I would order the GM mounts with the mirrors if you no longer have the factory mount. I'm sure the fit is better.
