The full, original style set for my '74 was $124.

If you're a member of the National Corvette Owners Association (NCOA) they have a good deal on carpeting. I don't know who their supplier is (yet) but I doubt it would be anything other than a first class outfit. When I'm ready to get a full set I will most likely get it through them.
Have heard that Wilcox also has good deals on carpet sets and I think their source is ACC.

I'm going to try the insulation first, then seal up the kick panel butterfly vents , and lastly put in a bypass on the upper heater hose to the heater core.

If you call and ask them, they will send you a catalog with samples. I'm pretty sure anyone can buy from them, but I took advantage of the wholesale pricing for mine!

I don't know that I'd do that. If anything I'd try to figure out how to run some extra duct work to bring more outside air in through those. Just a thought.
