I have rebuilt my 1972 headlight assemblies and had to have some of the housing support hole areas welded on. they were so corroded there was nothing left on some of them. I added metal and redrilled the holes almost level across the plate.  I have tried everything, shims all different places etc. The drivers side left front is always low and the right a little high. Shiming the left front, I can't go high enough, it hits the front end fiber glass. I'am to the point that I think I need to buy new ones. It's a 72 LT1 and I wan't it numbers correct. I can't find the original parts# 3915681 & 2.  Any ideas to correct my problem, or know where I can get correct ones that are in good shape? Thanks Mountain man

Forgot to mention right side has simllar problems.
