I am nearing the dreaded task of reassembly in this area. The last time I had a heck of a job lining everything up and getting the reassembly sequence done in order. Does anyone have a step by step sequence that I could use to avoid having to do the job at least 4 times in order to make sure I do not miss something in sequence.any advice would be greatly appreciated. Install center console and attach to the gauge cluster with 2 nuts.

Install heating/cooling control module by lifting it up and through the opening provided, attach adapter ring and module. Make sure the wires are still connected.

Install the 2 small trim pieces on the forward edge on both sides of the center console.

Install the 2 screws on the back edge of the console, one on each side.

Install the e-brake console with sliderpiece. Make sure the slider piece is properly inserted in the center console (not pinched), and install the little top trim piece.

Install the screws securing the e-brake console back edge through the center compartment.

Now it'ts safe to re-install the seats.

Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.
Yo, Muck:
If you're doing this kind of reassembly I think you will find the AIM (Assembly Instruction Manual) for your year Vette will be money well spent...and probably some of the cheapest.

BTW, car looks good.
