I have a 1972 LS5, that has a rear window defroster. The knob for the defroster is down on the side of the console by the driver. The knob is there, but when I open up the panel there is no switch. Could someone tell me where I might find a switch for my rear window defroster. Also if I could ask just one more question. For some reason my hood down at the corners next to the light seems to turn up just a little on either side. This is just at the corners and not in the middle. Does anybody know what would cause this? Is is because of excessive heat coming from the 454, or it is just a bad hood. Thanks.

Hello

The defroster switch is difficult to find |frown| . I found only one at Corvettes at Carlisle and it was $75. Check the on line auctions, you may find one there.

Your hood's hinges may have some shims to attempt to align the hood to the nose. Remove the shims and adjust the brace that is between the lights and goes from the front frame rail and the nose.

Good luck,
Alex |hammer|
