Every one I've seen had it. Just because it ain't there now doesn't mean it didn't have it...they all did. That seal is crucial for keeping the engine heat out of the vent-A/C system.
I had a chance yesterday to look at several Shark cars, from '69-'82....they all had the rear hood seal.
