I broke the rear emblem on my 75, and what I see listed for 75's does not look like what I have. Mine is one piece, rather fat letters, and is 8 inches wide with the letters about 1 inch tall.
I don't want to order one to find it is wrong.
Can anyone point me in the direction to get the correct "Corvette" emblem?

Try Paragon, Zip, Corvette America, Corvette Central, Wilcox, etc.

I did find one on Corvette Central that looks identical (listed for a 76), but their specs say it is only 6 inches wide; mine is 8 inches. I emailed them to check, but I seldom get responses from any vendor.
If someone has a 76 with this emblem, maybe you could measure it to see if it is actually 8 inches wide.

Thanks.

Hmmmm I have a 75, early and it has the individual letters. I wonder when they would have changed it

Early build '75s did use the individual letters, while later builds used the one-piece emblem. Early '76s used the short(6") emblem, later cars had the 8" emblem.

Paragon Corvette has the 6" version.

They probably wanted to use up the leftover letters from the '74 model year.

Do you know who may have the 8 inch version? That is what I need.

Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.
It's possible your bumper has been changed. Try finding parts for a different year. 75 used two different bumpers, thus the different size letters/configuration.

Paragon also carries the 8" version. I thought you needed the 6"....my bad. However...the LATE '75 would have used the 6" version originally. NONE of them('75) had the 8" from the factory.

Thank You! I ordered one.
Question: How do you get to the backside to fasten the nuts? It appears that there is a steel plate about an inch behind where the nuts go, and there is no way I can get my hand back there (the reason I broke the emblem in the first place was I thought it was glued in place and tried to pry it off
)
