Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79
My 79 has a 3-point strap that can be used to keep cargo (or T-Tops) from sliding around in the rear compartment.
What other year C3s have this strap?

'80,'81,'82's have them.
Some people, (like myself) never put them back in after replacing the carpeting back there. I think it looks "cleaner" back there without them.

All Sharks had them, I believe. Possibly the '68-'69s did not, but I'm not 100% sure on them.

Got them in my 82, but I find them to be worthless. They just get in the way.

As Sarge81 said, I replaced the carpet back there last spring and I
didn't created holes in the carpet to reinstall them. I found
them somekind of useless plus they look dirty.

For those of you who said that they were useless, how do you keep your t-tops from moving around? Do you have some other way of storing them that I don't know about?
