How does one tell if a 72 stock radio is a stereo radio?

Without the "build sheet"/order copy, there's no way to determine what radio came in the car from the factory. It could have come with no radio, an AM/FM, or AM/FM stereo. If you are trying to determine if the radio you have is stereo or not, it should have a small red(or yellow?) light that lights up when a station with a strong stereo signal is tuned in.
