I am looking for comfortable seats to install 5-point harness for drag racing, anyone know what seats will or wont fit. The dimensions they give look like they are all to wide.

can be all different and you might have to fabricate the mounting frame. what year corvette.

jc whitney has seats that are 20' wide. don't have the item number
right her but if you go their site and search seats they show a lot.
they also give all the dimensions for them too.

Go to SpeedDirect.com.........They have what you are seeking. Some racing seats will only accomodate a 34 inch waist. That will keep you in place. They also have the harnesses. You can even get a bracket for a fire exstinguisher, if you want. They are the Steeroids people. You should also check out the roll bars, they have. Powder coated or chromed. They have also come out with light control arms for sharks. I hope this might have helped.
