Mine do the same thing, just opposite sides. I'm sure there is some small leak in the vac sytems that causes this. I would not worry until they either don't open or close.

Mine do the same thing, left one first and right a couple of seconds later. Just as long as they lock all the way up there's no problem. I still have to adjust the linkages on my left hand one.

Yeah,,,,,my right side is a little slow also. It is a little faster with the engine running.
I'm learning that these cars have certain traits, like leaks and such.
I'm not going to worry about the lights until I have to.

the only thing i would do to fix this would be to apply some "rubber restorer" on the rubber plunger in the actuator valves. this will cause the dried up old rubber to swell and fix small actuator leaks..
these small leaks are vacuum leaks which in a small way will affect your performance.
something else you can do to help on this.. only use one headlight actuator.. leave the other one unhooked and use a tee in the line this way they both get vacuum at the same time..
I did this on my last car as one of my valves finally gave up the ghost.. this helped quite a bit..

Thanks Ben,,,,,,,That's a good idea.
I'll do it when I try a little of OHSIXX's Rub 'n Buff on the actuators.
I'll also keep a tee in the glove box, just in case.

There was a problem with Mike's signature which was causing a page display issue.
