I'm going to be putting a 1972 convertible body back on it's frame after being painted.  I'm wondering if there are some must items that need to be installed on the body or inside the engine compartment before dropping back on the frame.  It appears there might be some items that would be easier to install while off the frame vs after the body is on the frame.  Thanks, David

now is a good time to change the fuel lines with the body off.  Make sure all the body mounts are in good shape with new rubber mounts.

Corvettes and women are the same...You want to make love to them but they keep breaking down.

I'm not familiar with the 72' body but I just put my 80' back on its frame. On the 80' if you have removed the brake lines you need to get them back on before dropping the body on. One of the lines cannot be installed with the car on the frame. I also installed the positive battery cable as it was easier to run it without the frame in the way.  Again, thats on an 80. There are lots of engine compartment items that I installed but they all could be accomplished with the frame on. Its just easier working in that area without the frame to bump into.
