Well, had the new hood painted after sitting in storage for a year and got it on the car yesterday. Clap Complete with a pair of 400 emblems from a firebird to give a hint at what's under the hood!! Wink

The hood looks a bazillion times better than the rest of the carEmbarrassed

Next stop, get the rest of her painted to match!! Tongue Tell me what y'all think!

I think the hood (and car) is gonna look great Paul!

It also appears that you and I could both use a bigger garage.....

And how do you like your floor tiles?

ebo,

Hood came from Vanacorvette  http://vanacorvette.com/ Great company. Real nice people. Even gave me a veterans discount...

Nearly a bolt on install. I had to file the hood hinges a bit to get her to like up.

Love the floor. Can withstand a jack holding the car up.

Tux, there is just too much keerappp in my garage. 4 kids worth (5 if you count me!!).

Thanks

Paul

hood looks nice Paul, i had to do the same with the hinges on mine to get it to line up. I`m a little upset with the manufacturing of mine. the scoop slopes a little on the passenger side in result my ram horm air cleaner just touches the corner. Mine came from ecklers,( 2nd one) didn`t like the first one at all. Glad it worked for you.
