Does anyone know of a Good Programming Module capable of changing onboard computer setttings on an 81 Vette? Resonable priced, easy to use.

Thanks, Guitarpicker

Unfortunately, the 'puters on these cars are not "reprogramable", per-se. You can change the "chip" (prom)out with a different one, tho. The 'puters in these(81-82) cars are painfully slow, also, and that makes it hard to justify the expense of writing new parameters. There used to be several companies that sold these, Hypertech was the first on the market. Don't know if one for your 'Vette would be available still, but it might be worth a shot.

Here's what Hypertech has, but there may be others that are out there.

Thanks Joel,

I thought it would be a little tough, but I'm going to check out your link. Thanks for your response, and Have A Great Day!
