For those who have used it, what was the product type (name) used and were you satisfied with results. There seems to a choice of what to buy. Certain areas of my chassis have mild flaking (rear-near the gas tank). Thanks.

Hi jredding,
I have used the POR-15. I have found that if I follow their instructions to the letter the product is outstanding. I took a few short cuts on my GTO and found that it does not adhere properly. I really think that the marine clean is the key since it will remove and residue. Rinsing with water afterwards is also key. I use distilled water just to eliminate one more potential for contamination. Tap water tends to have a lot iron and other stuff that may or may not cause a problem. I decided that I would not take a chance on the vette.
I highly recommend the product. Also make sure that it is warm enough and that the product has not been sitting around on a shelf too long. They do not recommend that the product be used directly out of the can.
I have also used their chassis black with good success. I really like the durability versus the spray bombs.
Their website is excellent and they have live on-line support to help.
Good Luck!
