I will be replacing the Pillar Post weather seals on my 82; how do the come off and how do I install the new ones? I am also replacing the little window guide tabs.
Thanks!

Don't know how different the '82 is from the earlier cars, but they are usually glued on, for the most part, with a couple of screws to hold the channel on. Look for the screws at the top and bottom, and prolloy in the center too. There should be small holes in the w-strip where they go.
Take the w-stip off of the channel, clean all the old glue off, and make it clean. Then put some caulking on the back-side of the channel, use the screw holes to line the w-strip up with the holes in the channel, and glue the w-strip to the channel. Then screw the w-strip/channel to the pillar. Hope this makes sense...

AIM shows the installation. You will want some 3M weatherstrip adhesive and 3M weatherstrip adhesive remover.
