On my 75 Coupe, I have replaced the pillar post mouldings with new repros - trouble is, they don't meet the end of the pillar post. They stick out 1/8 inch. The 'Velcro' like attachments hardly match the ones on the posts so they don't grip there at all. Has anyone come up with a good way to glue these so they stay in place ? |headscratch|

You could try 3M brand Urethane. The stuff they bond windsheilds in with. But then I would'nt try to remove them. You'll wind up wrecking the moldings if you try to remove them. Or try double face pressure sensitive tape. Like the stuff they use to stick body molding on vehicles at the factory. That you can get apart again easier without destroying the molding, if your careful.
