Has anyone out there installed a Passenger Side Mirror on a 74 C-3. If so how difficult is it and what do I need to do.

Thanks
Hrvette

Haven't replaced the mirrior but you will have to take the door inside panel off to access the inside of the door to get to the nuts to attach the mirror to the fender. make sure the window is up too or it will block your access. the door panel comes off easier than putting it back on. Aligning the screws to the holes is the problem that takes patience. There are 3 screws in the armrest, 1 or 2 in the door clasp, 2 in the panel fore and aft. I don't know what your widow hadles are but they have to come off too. Plan a full afternoon of work. I took Ian's driver's side panel off today to stop the window from catching on the power motor when put all the way down. It took me about 2 hours and I've taken the panels off many times too for work on the locks and inside mechanisms. |cheers| |saluteflag|
