Hi All,
My 72 did not come with a mirror on the passenger side door. I changed both mirrors with 1974 Camaro mirrors. Thay were painted to match the car. I did need to make two metal plates to fasten them to the door. I just made a template using the plastic mounting shoe that came with the mirrors. The metal I used was 3/16" thick, I drilled and tapped two holes to hold the metal mounting clip that came with the mirrors.
