My car goes in for paint on the first of Feb and I'm torn between keeping the color original and doing something else. So, I thought I'd see what ya'll thought....

I have a Doeskin cloth interior and that won't change. Wife already said NO to Red...sorry Red Fans....

Nothin better looking than a real head turning color to get you noticed quickly and I think yellow shows off the lines of the car really great! Just my opinion.

i iagree- although i am partial to silver, yellow would really look striking, and the doeskin interior would go well with it.

I'm a sucker for black C-3's but the origional color for your '79 is a good way to not worry about your door jambs and under the hood colors. White is also very forgiving with the future nicks, scratches, and chips. Black is a pain in the butt to keep looking real nice. I live with it though.

Black looks great but is a bear to keep clean. Plus if you are going to go the whole way, door jambs, headlights, so many little places that white will be hiding. I think white looks good, even better with BC/CC.

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!

Original is always nice.

But with the interior I do like the yellow.

I don't remember what they called it offhand, but in 78 there was a very very light blue.  In some light it looked white.  A really good looking color.
