Learn from my mistake.....I was using paint stripper yesterday and a TINY amount dripped and got on my rear bumper w/out me knowing till later. It actually created a divot in the bumper! Use caution.

I agree. That's some potent stripper your using. I stripped mine by hand. Sand, sand an sand some more. Lot of work, but a lot safer. My .02

T
Mike,
If you're stripping the car in preparation for a new paint job, it would probably be easier to pull all of the chrome & trim first.
This should make it easier to work on & save a lot of stress over another oops...........
Good luck,
Anthony

Darn, I thought you were talking about
STRIPPERS
(the soft and cuddily type) ...................not strippers, oh well either one can cause you some serious
problems
. The car problems can be fixed a little bit easier, then the
Momma
ones. You must observe caution with both!

follow up to comments...It was the stripper with the airplane on the can.The bumper in question was just laying on floor while I was stripping a non corvette part.Don't use this stuff on your cars,it will get you later! Spend the money and have your old paint media blasted as I did.
